Dolly Daisy Scholarship
Dolly Daisy Scholarship
P.E.O. Chapter AL is honored to award the Dolly Daisy Educational Scholarship in memory of Mrs. Lorraine “Dolly” Cockle. This scholarship furthers the chapter’s mission to provide educational funding to deserving high school seniors as they graduate and pursue post-secondary education. The P.E.O. Sisterhood is a women’s philanthropic educational organization that held a special place in Dolly’s heart.
Dolly’s lifelong philanthropic contributions and multiple careers serve as an outstanding role model for all women. She believed that women should follow their dreams and access educational opportunities regardless of age or position in life.
Chapter AL is proud to offer this named scholarship and hopes to assist young women exemplifying many of the same qualities Dolly so joyfully shared with all who knew her.
